Yasmine O. Abdel-Aal's practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patents, trademarks, and copyrights, as well as the litigation of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and related business issues of unfair competition.

A graduate of the Whittier Law School with a Certificate in Intellectual Property, Ms. Abdel-Aal served as President of the Student Bar Association, Clerical Justice for the Moot Court Honors Board, and Treasurer of the Intellectual Property Society. She also received a Public Interest Law Foundation Summer Grant in 2006, and later joined the Grant Selection Committee for the Public Interest Law Foundation. In 2008, she received the Dean's Citation for Outstanding Service to the Whittier Law School.

Ms. Abdel-Aal earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2005 from the University of California, Irvine, where she was given Excellence in Research Honors. She was also a presenter on Biology of Aging at several conferences including the UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium in May 2004. Her article, "The Heterogeneity theory of lifetime fecundity is insufficient to explain late-life fecundity plateaus in Drosophila melangaster," was published in 2005 in Experimental Gerontology, a scientific journal.

Prior to joining Fulwider Patton LLP, Ms. Abdel-Aal was a legal extern at Biosensors International where she assisted senior in-house counsel in the preparation and prosecution of medical device patents.

Ms. Abdel-Aal was an organizer for the ABA Sierra Leone Law Book Drive in 2008, and was an organizer of fundraisers for such charitable organizations as Toys For Tots, the Orange County Food Bank, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. She is also proficient in Arabic and Spanish.
