Our founder, Robert W. Fulwider, is considered one of the deans of the patent practice in Los Angeles. One of only a handful of intellectual property practitioners in the United States in the 1930's, he was a visionary and pioneer of the field. Patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and other forms of intellectual property are often the foundation of a company's success. Knowing the increasing importance of intellectual property rights to business and the nation, Bob Fulwider founded our firm in 1938 based on three basic principles:
