Michel IP Inn to Host Judge Chen at Dinner Meeting

The Judge Paul R. Michel Intellectual Property American Inn of Court will be hosting a Dinner Meeting and Judges Panel on September 18, 2014 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel at 506 South Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles.

The Michel IP Inn is honored that Judge Raymond T. Chen of the United States Appeals Court for the Federal Circuit has agreed to participate on the Judges Panel. Before joining the Federal Circuit, Judge Chen served as Deputy General Counsel for Intellectual Property Law and Solicitor at the United States Patent and Trademark Office from 2008 to 2013, and was an Associate Solicitor in that office from 1998 to 2008.

Judge S. James Otero and Judge George H. Wu, both of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, also will be participating on the Panel.

The Michel IP Inn expects a lively and informative discussion by the Judges Panel that will be of keen interest to patent practitioners and litigators.

Cocktail reception will begin at 5:30 P.M., with dinner service at 6:30 P.M. The program is scheduled to begin at 7:00 P.M.
