GARY M. ANDERSON is a partner with the firm of Fulwider Patton LLP and has been with the firm since 1989. He has practiced in the Intellectual Property field since 1981. Mr. Anderson has extensive experience in the litigation of patent, trademark, trade dress, trade secret and unfair competition matters in both State and Federal Courts and before the International Trade Commission. He has first chair experience in both bench and jury trials. He also has significant experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications. Mr. Anderson's litigation background extends to a variety of technologies including semiconductors, intraocular lenses, medical devices, lighting products, vibration testing equipment and numerous mechanical devices, while his patent prosecution has been primarily directed to the mechanical arts. Additionally, Mr. Anderson provides general counseling on Intellectual Property Law and Technology matters assisting clients in establishing intellectual property protection programs and product clearance programs. Mr. Anderson has also taught as an adjunct Professor at Whittier Law School teaching Trade Secret Law.
Mr. Anderson received his B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from U.C.L.A. in 1972 and his J.D. (cum laude) from Southwestern University in 1980. Mr. Anderson was Managing Editor of the Southwestern Law Review in 1979-80. He is admitted to practice in the State of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth, Tenth and Federal Circuits and various United States District Courts. Additionally, he is a registered patent attorney admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Anderson is a member of the American Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law Associate, Federal Bar Association, Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Inns of Court.
