At its annual appreciation meeting on February 5, 2015, the Long Beach Bar Foundation recognized Vern Schooley, a senior partner at Fulwider Patton LLP, as Philanthropic Man of the Year. The Foundation thanked Vern for being an excellent example of charitable giving, stating that his recent financial support would help hundreds of at-risk youth to stay on the right side of the law, and noting that his efforts would serve to facilitate otherwise missed opportunities for those having criminal records and would open doors to the success of our future kids.
